Larry and sister, Elsy Romero of Miami, Florida will open their franchise in Kendall, Florida, March 1, 2010  Larry has hired knowledgeable and energetic manager, Mauricio Rodriguez,  to handle everyday operations.    In addition to pre-played and new video games, consoles and accessories, the Florida store will repair video game disc and consoles.  They will also have the interactive gaming area in the rear of the store where you and your friends can get your game on.  This area is available for all types of parties including, Birthdays, Team Banquets or any other celebration. E3 started yesterday and I started poking around the internet to see what the next big thing was going to be in the video game industry.  To my surprise Microsoft has set the bar again with their technology.  Poject Natal is a going to blow your mind.  Sorry Nintendo, Microsoft is getting ready to steal your glory.  Take a look at Project Natal.

We are ramping up for Black Friday.  To stay more competitive we are having a sale up to new years day.  The sale is “Buy 2, Get 1 Free”  on Pre-played Games and DVD’s.  Fortunately we have over-stock of games that will carry use until January.  January and February’s trade-ins will replenish our stock so make sure you check that out.  There will be a lot of New-Gen games after the new year.  In addition we are giving 20% more in credit for all trade-ins.  We are expecting black Friday to be huge this year.  We will be receiving our Christmas stock of new games in a few days and the guys are hitting the streets with one thing in mind,  plaster the city up with Game On marketing materials.

Our marketing has become more intense and aggressive in the past few weeks.  We have momentum right now after the West Coast Franchise Expo in LA and are trying to keep it up.  We are currently in the market for a talented Web Developer that will bring our website up to par and give it the attention it needs.  Marketing research has become one of the areas I am focusing on so in addition to a more aggressive approach for advertising for each location.

We have received confirmation the we will be attending the Franchise Expos South in Miami in January so look out Florida we are coming…..  I will give you an update as we come closer to the show.
